Behind the Booth: Custom Tumblers & Why We Love Market Days

Running a small business means we spend a lot of time behind the scenes—designing, engraving, cleaning, packing orders, and usually surrounded by way more tumblers than any three people should probably own.

But one of our favorite parts of KLM Craft Haus is getting out of the shop and doing markets.

There’s something different about seeing everything we’ve been working on displayed together and getting to meet the people who stop by our booth. We love watching someone spot a design that is so them, helping people find the perfect cup or gift, and hearing the stories behind what they’re shopping for.

Of course, what you see at the booth is only the finished product.

Long before the tables are set up, we’re choosing designs, stocking colors and styles, engraving inventory, pricing, packing, and somehow figuring out how to fit ALL of it into the cars.

And right now, that process is starting all over again.

We’re already working behind the scenes on custom engraved tumblers for our upcoming markets, and the piles of cups around the shop are growing quickly.

We’ll be sharing more of the behind-the-scenes chaos as we get closer. For now, just know—market prep has officially begun.
